Free market and non-crony capitalism can work.

The ongoing soaring costs of medical treatments and insurance premiums must be addressed through a free market system. Through healthy, non-crony competition the service value will go up and the price will adjust to demand not to bureaucratic, lobbyist imposed regulations.

Pro Choice for Life

My position on choice is forged by my experiences.

There is no doubt in my mind that the right to life is the single, most basic, most fundamental right of all. The meddling of politicians to garner votes from one side or the other in the issue only serves to trivialize its importance.

The bridge across Long Island Sound has been on the drawing board since I was a child. Mainly, environmental reasons were listed as the main reason as to why this most necessary linking of Long Island and CT couldn’t be broached. I believe that the time is right for such a project to be undertaken and today, environmental reasons are one of the main reasons why we SHOULD be moving ahead Vinny: Whats the advantage of getting to the east end of long island, it’s small cramped and a playground for the rich? Is there (and there must be) something I am missing. From a certain point east, not just the eastern tip this bridge would be a blessing for travel time not to mention the commuters who actually drive this for work or employment reasons. I also would hope that this could entice more folks to move to CT in the “country” where prices of homes and living and taxes are less than Long Island (one of the highest in the nation) and actually prompt our CT tax revenues in all areas to rise because of the influx of new residents.

This is an area that should be of great concern globally and not just locally. It transcends all parties ages, genders and is at the core of human rights at the most basic levels.

Atrocities mostly unspeakable, are being committed in the illegal trafficking of innocent women, children and destroy countless families and lives. This illegal action affects literally every part of our country and actions must be taken to combat this terrible and inhuman treatment of our fellow man.

This abhorrent practice must be stopped.

I believe that CT has an incredible opportunity to lead in these most important areas and that they both can go hand in hand. Currently, the political class has indebted us and put us at the mercy of countries who openly dislike the United States. This has been brought upon the American people in a bipartisan manner, yet for each party to it’s own ends. We who are in the middle will always be powerless unless we root out the political class and their self perpetuating dilemma’s they put America in to further their own goals.

My policy on this will be clear and simple. As a witness to the unimaginable devastation, death and horror of the biggest terrorist attack on America (so far), I am personally offended by the continuing “investigations” into the areas of questioning the actions of those who were and are charged with keeping our country, our families and our children safe. As a candidate I believe in our current system of checks and balances enough to say, questioning the bad guys NOT THE GOOD GUYS works.
