I am in favor of cutting taxes under any circumstances whenever it's possible. I believe the problem is not taxes per se, but is spending. Waste, fraud, and abuse seem to increase in the federal budgets from year to year. This is not the time to raise taxes  on anyone. A sure way to stifle any rebound in our struggling economy is to ask people for money that they do not have. It has been proven that lowering taxes stimulates growth and promotes spending and investment in more jobs and the future. I will help draft and support any legislation that will lower taxes, reduce our debt and balance our budget.

This is the largest combined tax increase and expansion of government ever proposed in this nation's history. It’s is up to the citizens like YOU to stand behind me and generate the massive grassroots outcry that will take this nation back and put an end to this tax and spend mentality. Sadly, instead of investing in American innovation and helping businesses thrive, we will be paying interest to foreign governments on this loan that congress borrowed in your name if we stay on our present course!

Tax Reform: I am in support of a comprehensive proposal that implements a simple, low, and fair tax system that provides tax relief for working Americans and protects the rights of taxpayers through reducing tax collection abuses that will eliminate bias against savings and investment, and promotes economic growth and job creation. By including a  national consumption tax, a prebate to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue neutrality through companion legislation, and the repeal of the 16th Amendment, we could put this nation back to fiscal responsibility that is fair for all its citizens.

Death Tax:  I believe that the death tax should be completely and permanently repealed in order to make the tax code fairer, and to eliminate the lasting penalty this tax has on the economy and the extra burden it places on the family members. The Death Tax punishes the Americans by penalizing individuals for saving, investing, and building successful businesses. What incentive do we have to leave our childern a better future when the foundation of that future is being taken away by the federal government.

Internet Tax: I believe we all have a vested interest in ensuring that the Internet develops without excessive over regulation and taxation. The government continues to burden traditional telecommunications services with taxes and regulations. As Senator I will not support any legislation that will would give the federal government any entry to be able to tax one of the last places the free market exists.

I really want to hear your feedback on this issue. As an individual running as a Senator, my job would be to listen to you as your representative and then act accordingly upon the expressed will of you, the people. This is why at the end of every issue I have a comment feedback section, because without your direct involvement in this campaign, I would just be another politician promoting my agenda over that of those whom I work for and was elected to represent.
